1. What this policy covers

This Cookie Policy explains how automationmarine uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels and scripts from third parties) on http://ci_skymed.test/. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.

2. Your choice

When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. Only essential cookies are used until you decide. "Accept all", "Reject non-essential" and "Customise" are equally available, and optional categories stay off unless you switch them on.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using "Privacy settings" at the bottom of every page. When you switch a category off we delete the cookies we set for it and stop the related tools.

3. Categories we use

• Strictly necessary: Keep the site working: signing in, your cart and checkout, security checks and remembering these privacy choices. These cannot be switched off.
• Personalisation: Remember products you viewed and searches you made so we can show "recently viewed" items and relevant suggestions, linked to your account when you sign in.
• Analytics: Help us understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, time spent, country) so we can improve it. Without this we only count anonymous daily totals.
• Marketing: Allow advertising, chat and notification partners to set cookies so we can measure campaigns, show relevant offers and offer live chat and push notifications.

4. Essential cookies

• ci_session: keeps you signed in and holds your cart (expires when you close the browser or after 2 hours of inactivity).
• csrf_cookie_name: protects forms against cross-site request forgery (2 hours).
• remember_token: only if you tick "remember me"; keeps you signed in (30 days).
• privacy_consent: remembers your privacy choices (12 months).
• privacy_account_set: only after you sign in and answer "Personalise my account"; tells this browser not to ask again at sign-in. It holds no personal data (12 months).
• Your selected currency and delivery pincode, stored in your browser so prices and delivery checks work.

5. Optional cookies and technologies

• Personalisation: recently_viewed_ids cookie and rv_products local storage (30 days) for "recently viewed" products. If you switch on "Personalise my account", your views and searches are also remembered with your account, so this applies on every device you sign in on; it never turns on advertising cookies, and you can switch it off under Privacy & my data.
• Faster checkout (only if you tick "Save my details on this device" at checkout): fast_checkout_* cookies and fast_checkout_profile local storage hold your name, phone, email and delivery address to pre-fill your next order, and fast_checkout_consent remembers that you asked for this (12 months). Untick the box or use "Reset" at checkout to delete them.
• Analytics: our own traffic statistics (wa_visitor_id / wa_session_id in local storage) and, if configured, Google Analytics (_ga, _gid; up to 2 years) and Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk; up to 1 year).
• Marketing: if configured, Google Ads, Meta Pixel (_fbp; 3 months), Microsoft Advertising (_uetsid, _uetvid), live chat and browser push notification services.

Your browsing and search history is never sold or shared; only authorised staff can see an individual's history, and each view is logged.

6. Without consent

If you do not consent to analytics we still count page and product views as anonymous daily totals (for example "product X was viewed 25 times today"). These totals contain no identifier, cookie or IP address and cannot be linked to you.
